Dave Coverly has illustrated a new children’s book entitled The Very Inappropriate Word. It was written by Jim Tobin, and concerns a young word-lover named Michael who discovers a word he’s never heard one day at school. Unfortunately, it’s not a very appropriate word. His adventure with the word reaches a beautiful ending when he’s introduced to the Library and its boundless bounty of words, many of them easy substitutes for that inappropriate one. It’s a great book for youngsters!
